Agape Red, a software development company in Omaha, NE, engaged KOVUS on a project for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to uncover the features of a mobile dining app that would be most critical to the student body, and to develop the information architecture and user interface for the app. Using both quantitative research (over 300 student surveys) and qualitative research (20 interviews) KOVUS was able to use a data-driven approach to identify the most important features and develop the UI through an iterative process of testing with end-users.

The internal UX team at WELCOA hired KOVUS to provide expertise and a fresh perspective for the information architecture and site navigation of their rebranded website. KOVUS conducted extensive customer research with both existing WELCOA members and potential members. This comprehensive discovery phase was key in helping discover pain points with the current site, and identifying opportunities for improvement to the information architecture and site navigation for the new site.

Mark Hasebroock, a prominent venture capitalist and entrepreneur, hired KOVUS to help research and test a new service offering concept. Based on his prior successes, Mark understood the importance of customer feedback in shaping an offering, but did not have sufficient time to recruit interview participants, conduct interviews, and analyze results. Through the KOVUS research process, demand for the concept was validated, multiple pricing models were tested, and key insights were uncovered regarding customer pain points that were used to refine both the offering and shape the content strategy.

Interface hired KOVUS to provide clarity on their ideal target market in the Omaha, NE market. KOVUS helped Interface identify segmentation criteria to uncover trends in past student enrollment. Using newly developed profiles of past students and data from qualitative interviews, KOVUS developed a demographic and psychographics profile of the target student. KOVUS conducted additional interviews with potential students that fit these criteria to validate the target and provide deep customer insights to better influence core messaging and marketing efforts.

KOVUS was hired to test a mobile app idea that was intended to help real estate agents improve the home showing process with homebuyers and other agents. A competitive analysis was completed by KOVUS, in addition to sixteen interviews with homebuyers and real estate agents to test interest levels in the app. By vetting the concept with research before moving into the development, the client saved thousands of dollars.
